Custom Web Design

Custom Web Design (CWD) is a service that entails the design and development of your online presence.

Our Design Process is very extensive and can take any where between 2-12 weeks or more to complete.

Types of Websites

There are literally tens of millions of websites available over the Internet. With so many, it can be difficult to figure out what type of website is suitable for you. There are two determining factors when planning out a website:

Intended Use: Websites are typically used to provide information on a business or individual. You may use our chart to review different intended uses (e.g. commercial, organizational, portal, government, military, educational, and ISP).

Level of Interactivity: The amount of interaction a website entails is normally the primary cost factor in any web design project. This is because interaction normally requires script programming and many web designers are not skilled in languages other than HMTL and Javascript! (Incidentally, we are capable of programming in just about any computer language for use online or otherwise.)

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does this process take?

This depends on the complexity of your project, and how quickly you are able to provide content.

What should I do on my end to ensure a smooth turnaround?

While we will offer suggestions and mock ups (known as screenshots) of your project, it is helpful to have an idea of what direction you wish to go. Visit other websites or collect print collateral that you like.

When should I expect to see a sample?

Typically a sample is provided within about 7 days after we brainstorm during the Planning Phase. We provide the sample in the Design Phase.

Will I have a chance to approve everything prior to launch?

Absolutely. You will have an opportunity to go through the final version with a fine tooth comb and will be advised on the best option in terms of launching or sending to the printer.

Which Type of website will I need?

There are many factors involved when deciding on what is necessary for your business. Most people feel that an informational website will suffice, but this is not always the case.

Do I need to accept credit cards?

At this point, the ability to accept sales or donations can be quite beneficial. You can possibly use the same merchant account to process sales online, over the telephone, and in-store.

How are websites built?

We have a efficient way to churn out professional results every time. Be sure to review our Design Process.
